The Unfolding Scars

Photo courtesy of Savannah Class / Unsplash For the longest time, I have put on a face, tried to look okay, and found comfort in self-development articles. Well today, I just realize there is just some internal damage resting inside that erupts in the worst moments of life. Have you heard of this person who just finds peace in solitude, always staying locked at home, with a mirror as a best friend and comfort? That's a self-description. And just as a friend, there are days you don't get along with the image on the other side of the mirror. So, there I sit looking at the image on the other side of the mirror. Most times I see potential in the person but other times, it just shows how broken the person is. Your smile does crazy things with it but shows no sympathy when you are at the worst. However, I tend to believe I am my best comfort. Other than the mirror is a mind always racing with thoughts and fantasies. Filled with words and events in reality I cannot do. At some point, ...

Snippet/Review (PART 2)

Hey,

Hope you enjoyed part one of the review. How about we hop onto the next. These part II articles are from this year.

8. Five Most Effective Self-care Activities

I must say 2021 started quite well; a soothing from the harsh encounters of 2020. This eighth piece is my first sponsored post and the first post this year. I promoted monthly subscriptions with the best comrade deals to make your life easier. Thanks to Ken, who believed in me and was patient with me that this post came to be how it was. And please access those subscriptions. They make life ideal helping you slow down time. Subscriptions are a massive part of self-care.

So, have you read it? From the first glimpse of the article, you could smell quality and friendly content that you can confide in. I also used impeccable images on it. You can’t have just skipped that post. It also had quite a great acceptance by you guys. Your engagement was decent. Please read it, comment, and share.

9. Six Movies/Series with the Best Fashion Sense

This page was a continuation of the sponsored post. I integrated what I love doing during my free time, watching movies/series with the trend, which is fashion, to bring out the best of both. It was a different style of writing in which I appreciate and was pleased with the outcome. Some of you messaged me to say how amazing it was. Please leave that impression in the comment section of that blog post.

10. How Good is Going with the Flow

This blog page is similar to the blog, our dreams versus our reality in that it came from deep inside. That is, how I feel about things and my views on them. It speaks on how great it can be abiding by what comes your way. It is a critic to acting against the norm or ordinary.

11. Comfort in Your Style, Attitude, and Character

This post speaks of how great it is to be content and appreciate your personality and existence. It is an incredibly twisted logic on how to live. It is about putting trust in yourself first. In the blog, I’ve also highlighted the reasons why you may be unable to get comfortable in your being. For recognition and acceptance is the best start to changing something. So if you are struggling with appreciating your capabilities, this is for you. I won’t say much, for the post itself is detailed.

12. The Idea of a Perfect Day

Here I give thoughts on what a perfect day would look like for me. And let you know how you could make your new reality into a perfect day. A day that you can say was satisfactory and happy. We also realized that the reason why most of us never experience a perfect day is that we are constantly planning for that perfect moment and are never satisfied with what we have.

13. Appreciative Post (Is it Worth 6 Months?)

With these, I decided to put out an appreciative post to you for always taking time to go through my posts. I also gifted you amazing offers that make life easier. Incredible prices for the amazing deals you’ve always craved for. It was also to mark my six months of blogging.

14. How Overthinking Steals us from the Present

This post came as a result of practical situations on overthinking. I am an overthinker, and for the first time in nearly four weeks, I did not have that pressure.

Some of these posts are formal, while others are pages where I personalize the content. All in all, meant for growth. I am glad to bring them all out. Different styles and content. If you have not read any that is just a sneak peek, read the complete piece to get the most of them. It is a journey, and we are still moving on.

Thank you for taking the time to go through the posts.

My Latest Travel Experience

Adventure at Camp Ndunda As I sat on my bed thinking of what to publish in my next post, I couldn’t help but obey the after-effects of my excursion last weekend. The experience was so captivating that I thought it would be best to put it on record. So, my friends and I went camping at Camp Ndunda Falls in Embu from Friday to Sunday. This was my first camping trip. It was also in honor of a friend's birthday. Simply a whole weekend with friends out there experiencing nature. It was one of a kind. We set off in the afternoon and arrived at around 7 pm. The reception right from the gate was at its best. Upon checking in, they did not waste time to give us a guide to help us settle; that is, to our tents, setting us a bonfire and leading us to where we had our supper. Talking of supper, they have flavorful meals to die for, especially their platters. We then got ourselves psyched out for the weekend by jamming into some of our playlists and around a bonfire to sway the night aw...

3 Songs I Can't Get out of My Mind

Photo by Elice Moore from Unsplash.com Music is part of life and a kind of a free lifestyle anyone can access. The rhymes and beats ringing in our minds have a special kind of peace, relaxation, and refreshment . These effects of music trigger one to turn on their playlists or radio while cooking, cleaning, or doing other manual work, or while sitting alone in a vehicle traveling, when bored, among others. The thrill and enchantment help boost mood. Alongside that, the music carries important messages as most artists speak their minds in their songs. About 68 percent of adults aged 18-34 years old listen to music every day. I have come up with a list of 3 songs I can't get out of my mind for like a month. These songs are not particularly new but have a special place in my heart. 1. Déjà vu by Naika  Déjà vu  is on top of my list. I heard a clip of this song a few months ago, but I just passed through it. I came across the artist, Naika , and the entire piece recently, and oh...
